I picked up a DVD on Kurtag, some Schutz, Marco Stroppa, and Bridge’s fantastic Peter Lieberson CD witih his late wife. Even though Tower and Lorraine Hunt Lieberson can not longer recover, let us hope Dawn Upshaw does.

P.S. One of the Tower supervisors told me that the one of the higher-ups at the Lincoln Center store is trying to gather inverstors for a Jazz/Classical/World music store in the neighborhood. Sounds pretty idealistic to me, but there’s always hope.
