		<description><![CDATA[Well, there are female music critics out there, but even in this age of gender equity in other fields of music (including compositions, thank goodness), people still refer to me as &quot;Mr. Fine&quot; when making comments about my American Record Guide reviews.  I think that like the image of a construction worker or a train engineer, the general image of the music critic is as a male.  It is still going to take a long time before the musical community at large takes a gender-neutral approach to opinion and music criticism.]]></description>
