    Well, in thirty-five days time — on Eastern Orthodox Easter — some of us will be relistening to Messiaen’s La Transfiguration de Notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ and Sofia Gubaidulina’s St John Passion and St John Easter.

    (Last year, Western and Eastern Easter were on the same date.]
