Went over to Last.fm to listen to some Duckworth.  They have three or four of the Time Curve Preludes, in case others are interested.  (BTW, Last.fm needs a description for these, so maybe if you have recovered from your trip...)]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Hi Galen- I&#039;m so glad you described the social aspect of the conference, the process of meeting strangers and forging friendships through a shared passion for these composers and their music.  For a few days, we could be with articulate like-minded scholars and artists, discussing the music we love, and it is indeed hard to return to our isolated corners of the globe.  For me as a performer, few things have been as exhilerating as being given the mission to learn Kyle&#039;s transcriptions of Harold Budd&#039;s Children on the Hill and Dennis Johnson&#039;s November, and after Sunday&#039;s concert I have even more admiration for him as a pianist.  It was wonderful to meet you after reading your work for years.  Thanks for giving us this document of an extraordinary conference.]]></description>
