Byron, pleasure meeting you at 3ARts Workshop in Chicago.

Swapping CDs was a good idea. I listened to "Yiji" with great interest and was nourished beyond words. When I googled the title I discovered that the definition, "to migrate or move to a new place of residence" is more eloquently described in your CD. Really love your j-card design and the way it lures me into 7 enchanting tracks.

Thanks for introducing me to your music, sharing your grandfather's story and inspiring me to visit your site. I am especially fond of your Qi music ("Surrender") for choir. Yours is a musical voice I hope to hear for Life. All the best--Regina Harris Baiocchi, Chicago

Do you realize the director of a failing opera company probably has to work harder than the director of a thriving one? And do you care to cite any examples of the shabby treatment, or are you just going with the familiar AGMA wives tales? I know more than a little bit about what's really been going on at NYCO and the level of BS floating around it is staggering. You are not helping.

My friend Noah Lethbridge and I have been podcasting about New Opera, especially in the New York area for almost a year now, we have 14 shows and another on the way, check us out on indieopera.com or on iTunes and stitcher. There is an amazing amount of energy in the New York Area for new opera, we have identified over 70 groups that are producing work! Keep your eyes peeled for a resurgence of opera in the next couple of years.
