Carl Michael von Hausswolff (Stockholm) December 13
likes it when the audience appreciates a full body massage and falls asleep; his multi-oscillator sine waves correspond with not only the physical audience but also with the interior architecture; this Stockholm-based maverick will now do his first “real” New York concert since the debut at CBGBs in 1990

Leslie Ross (New York) December 19
In this program discrete and microscopic nuances are highlighted and given a place in space when the instrument – bassoon – is micro-miked with numerous microphones: each source sent to its own speaker (placing the listener inside the player and instrument) – boundary terrain is opened and explored as definition between timbre and pitch dissolve
Phill Niblock (New York) 6pm until midnight, December 21
So what’s new?- well, after 75 years he can still do six hours of music and film/video on the winter solstice;
