North Country, our second program on January 25, features music by composers from the farthest reaches of the northern U.S. We will perform music by Libby Larsen and Stephen Paulus (Minnesota), Dennis Bathory-Kitsz (Vermont), Elliot Schwartz (Maine), John Luther Adams (Alaska), and Robert Paterson (Buffalo). Bass-baritone David Neal will be featured in the New York City Premiere of Paterson’s Winter Songs. All of the composers will be in attendance for an on-stage discussion. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear these wonderful works, a few for the first time in New York.
