Richard Brooks’ Circular Motions for flute, clarinet and piano will be performed by members of the No Borders Quartet on Tuesday, November 24 at the Accademia di Romania, Valle Giulia, Piazzale José de San Martin, 1 in Rome, Italy. This program is presented in cooperation with the New York Composers Circle.

Circular Motions was written in 2005 and consists of three movements – I. Maelstrom, II. In the Eye of the Storm and III. Whirlwind. It has been recorded for the Innova label by flutist Keith Underwood, clarinetist Esther Lamneck and pianist Martha Locker. Performers for the November 24 concert will be flutist Andrea Biagini, clarinetist Guido Arbonelli and pianist Alessandro Roselletti. They will also present works by Dinu Ghezzo, John de Clef Piñeiro, John Eaton, Brian Fennelly, Patricia Leonard, Dana Dimitri Richardson and Mauro Porro.
