The World Premiere of Richard Brooks’ vocal work Impressions will be presented on Thursday, December 17, 8 PM as part of Song New York – A Concert of American Vocal Music in the Renee Weiler Concert Hall of Greenwich House Music School, 46 Barrow Street, Manhattan (between Seventh Avenue South and Bedford St.). This program is presented By Golden Fleece,Ltd, with Musical Direction by Carmela Sinco.
Impressions is two settings for high voice and piano of writings by Oscar Wilde. Other composers on the program include Thomas Carlo Bo, Charles Coleman, Lou Rodgers, Ned Rorem, Gary M. Schneider, Carmela Sinco, Mira J. Spektor and Virgil Thomson.
