The distinguished Cuban-American composer Aurelio de la Vega will be present at the first performance of Recordatio, his recently completed composition for voice and chamber orchestra.
The concert will feature soprano Anne-Marie Ketchum and the North/South Chamber Orchestra under the direction of its founder Max Lifchitz. The event will take place on Sunday, February 19 at 3 PM at the auditorium of Christ & St Stephen’s Church (120 West 69th St) in Manhattan.
The concert will also feature four other exciting works especially written for the occasion by Ada Gentile, Yalil Guerra, Victor Kiulaphides and Harold Schiffman.
Admission is free.
