Composer, conductor, pianist, and youngest ever winner of the Grawemeyer Award, Thomas Adès takes the podium at the Metropolitan Opera this fall to conduct his own opera The Tempest; come hear this fascinating exploration of his chamber music, hosted by the composer. Both “viscerally appealing” (New York Times) and full of bewitching sonorities, Adès’s artistic voice is admired the world over.
