The World Premiere of Joelle Wallach’s Quietus for treble choir and string orchestra will be performed by the Colorado State University Women’s Chorus, Stacy Miller, conductor and the CSU Concert Orchestra, Leslie Stewart, conductor on Sunday, November 11 – 7:30 PM at Organ Recital Hall at the University Center for the Arts on the campus of Colorado State University in Fort Collins. The performance will be conducted by CSU Director of Orchestras Wes Kenney.
The program also features Vivaldi’s Concerto in d minor, Handel’s Organ Concerto No. 13 in F Major and Grieg’s Two Elegaic Melodies. Soloists will be Laurel Lynch, violin, Emily Manelius, violin, Lauren Burcham, cello, Josh Cabiness, violin and Andre Steinberg, organ.
