FPT613The Fire Pink Trio will be in concert, performing music for harp, flute and viola on Thursday, June 6 at 7:00 PM in the McChesney Scott Dunn Auditorium of the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art, 750 Marguerite Drive in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The Trio, with guest soprano Elizabeth Pacheco Rose, will present Terry Mizesko’s Ice Counterpoint, views of the Earth’s Polar Regions through the artistic collaboration of music, art, environmental soundscapes, film, and photography. The piece was composed for soprano, flute, viola, and harp, with photography, film and soundscapes by Brooks deWetter Smith. Also on the program is Adrienne Albert’s Doppler Effect, and Twelve Days in the Shadow of a Miracle by Lyle Mays for flute, viola, harp, and CD.

The Trio, consisting of Jacquelyn Bartlett, harpist, Sheila Browne, violist and Debra Reuter-Pivetta, flutist came together in 2008.
