Judith Lang Zaimont’s Serenade will be performed in its piano trio version on Thursday, June 27 by the Third Millennium Ensemble at 7:30 PM at Garrett Park Town Hall, 10814 Kenilworth Avenue in Garrett Park, Maryland. This will be part of the Ensemble’s Images concert.

The piece was awarded First Prize in Third Millennium’s 2012 competition. The first performance of this version was in December 2010 at the Cincinnati College Conservatory by Melissa White, violin, Paul Wiancko, cello and Awadagin Pratt, piano. It was also performed in Darmstadt, Germany in May 2011. It is featured on the Navona Records release Eternal Evolution – Music of Judith Lang Zaimont.
