Fire Pink Trio Presents Two North Carolina Concerts – January 12 at Duke University in Durham and January 14 at University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-SalemPosted by s21concerts in Concert Announcement
The Fire Pink Trio will be in concert, performing music for harp, flute and viola, on Sunday, January 12 at 4:00 PM in the Nelson Music Room on the East Campus of Duke University in Durham and on Tuesday, January 14 at 7:30 PM in Watson Recital Hall of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem.
The Trio will perform Debussy’s Sonate and two contemporary works, Doppler Effect by Adrienne Albert (a sound sample of which is online at http://firepinktrio.com/mediafiles/Albert-DopplerEffect.mp3) and Dan Locklair’s Dream Steps. The Duke concert will also include Frank Bridge’s Lament for Two Violas, with special guest violist Jonathan Bagg.
