Parran (clarinets); and Lewis Spratlan: Apollo and Daphne Variations featuring Eliot Gattegno (saxophones). Both albums offer a palette of orchestral colors, expertly rendered by the dauntless and spirited Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) led by conductor Gil Rose.
