Fabregas is one of the best players ever! He is so young yet so talented. He should be winning much more awards than he already is. At this pace, by the time he’s in his early 30′s he’ll definitely be crowned the best footballer.

[...] I wish I could’ve been at Le Poisson Rouge for Ute Lemper, or for either one of Peter Breiner’s CD release parties. One of my all time favs was the New Amsterdam/Non-Classical Records concert. Talk about wild! That party featured artists such as The Elysian Quartet, John Matthias & Nick Ryan, NOW Ensemble, DJ Gabriel Prokofiev and Sam Z. Solomon. Most of these guys also played at SXSW, which I got to see when I was there back in March. It rocked. [...]

I was a student of Jeni’s for 10 years in the 1980′s and 1990′s before I moved to Chicago. She is an extremely intense teacher who sometimes worked with me on a single phrase for 45 minutes at a time (maybe I was just a very slow student). I will never forget her. I was at her Carnegie Hall debut and will always remember her rendering of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. It was a sound that lingers in the memory through years and years, like the taste of a really fine wine.

Me fascina esta clase de eventos, todo lo relacionado con la Musica y especialmente la Andina, me gustaria conocer la programacion, para asistir en cuanto me sea posible. Me perdi este concierto a pesar de que me encontraba en Miami, y me era muy facil ir a New York, por no tener su programacion.
Soy hija del Compositor JORGE OLAYA MUNOZ, y el QUINTETO DE LAS AMERICAS, fundado en 1976 en Bogota, Colombia, siempre interpreta su Musica. A proposito en EL FESTIVAL DEL MONO NUNEZ,Musica Instrumental, 2009 ,se le rendira homenaje a mi padre, Me gustaria comunicarme con ustedes.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra will premiere a work by Vlad Maistorovici next season;
Ana SzilÃ¡gyi’s new work â€œFlying”, inspired by the sculptor Constantin Brancusi, will premiere at Viennaâ€™s Wien Modern Festival this season;
and Diana Rotaru is the daughter of the well-known Romanian composer Doina Rotaru.

I went to this concert and found it to be quite excellent. Too bad there were not more attending.

I particularly liked the John Eaton and Steven Gerber pieces. I did not know these composers and since have checked them out. Gerber is very impressive, has several releases of orchestral music out there.
