Had a conversation a few weeks ago with one of my students about music’s ability to match up with anything you want it to match up with – storytelling, dance, mathematics, poetry, sports, film, emotions, etc.  Pretty much anything you throw it at, it sticks.

Music is the ultimate goop.

Of course, you don’t have to throw it at anything, and it works just fine by itself.  Amazing, insubstantial substance.

And that’s the thought I will leave you with as I head into the month of June.  I’m going to do a little personal travel, not sure exactly when I’ll be back.  I may just find a convenient hole to scoot into for a while.

But I’ll probably be back sooner than I think.  Can’t resist the goop for very long.
